We have a welcome ceremony for all our guests when they arrive in Kathmandu. “Athithi devo vawa,” as they call it, guests are equal to god here. We pick you up at the airport with Khada and rever warm greetings on arrival. After clearing the security check, you find Orchid Travels Nepal waiting for you at the terminal. You will be then transferred to a hotel and treated to the best food. 

We will start our day with breakfast and a walk around the streets of Thamel for local breakfast. Then we head our way to Monkey Temple (Swoyambhunath Stupa), as they call it for several monkeys and their mischief. 

A holy visit to Swoyambhu, understanding its impact on culture, and then, a "self-created" stupa where Buddha is worshipped at Harati temple, too, as the protector of the kids. We can try famous Laphing (Tibetan food) and Keema noodles as our food here. 

Second, our day trip now extends to the visit of Boudhanath temple. It's another famous stupa in Nepal that has highly religious values. We can shop around for souvenirs and get to know more about the place within the day. We will try some Tibetan momos in a nice cafe, with a rooftop view. 

We will now head to Pashupatinath temple. The highlight of any visit to Pashupatinath in the afternoon is you get to do Darshan in Bhairab temple, the Pashupatinath premises, and even make it up to the evening rituals, Sandhya Aarati. Opposite this, you can see the open cremation ground on the banks of the Bagmati River.

 It's life, death, and prayers that you can participate in and be like a devout Hindu for a day. If the crowd is your concern, we just look at it superficially and then return for dinner at the outlet of Thamel for a Thakali Khana set (either Dhido or rice). We rest our day at the hotel and gossip about the life and traditions in Kathmandu. 

After breakfast, we abode in our vehicle to travel to Chitwan around 5 and a half hours to reach Sauraha, around 110 miles to drive. We will go by private jeep through the roads of Kalanki, Mugling, and Narayanghat, and then finally arrive at Chitwan. 

We will check the road conditions and weather forecasts and look for road closures and landslide warnings before making the trip. Sanctuary Resort and Chitwan Village Resort are some of the top resorts we can look for. 

These resorts organize Tharu dances to provide guests with an authentic cultural experience. We also go on guided village tours to nearby Tharu villages. We will brief you about the next day's jeep safaris, nature walks, canoe rides, and sightseeing of protected wildlife in Chitwan National Park. We eat supper at a bonfire and call the day a rest at our hotel. 

We woke up to breakfast in the hotel and prepared the whole day for activities in Chitwan National Park. We explore Sauraha, an elephant herding place. $30 shared Safari Tour Jalapeno Cafe; nice coffee we grab it from here. 

To start the day with a blessing, fruit bowl, breakfast, cereals Honey House here, elephants on the way, elephant riding here. We can try the elephant bath activity here. 

It can be so hot in Chitwan shared Safari with a guide. After the next 4 hours of very good seat range life lost in nature, you can enjoy, and view the types of lizards that are big. Jungle book lush and green vibes 

Crocodiles in the river, cross the river by canoe; there is a jeep we can for therefrom. Book this at street and accommodation, follow him. Crossing a river that has crocodiles—OMG, this is insanely hot.

Do you know? Crocodiles sunbathe to digest the food; if lucky, we can see it live on the safari activity. Their eyes look straight to the soul, the small ones too big they can get. Your heart will be beating 5 times faster when you make it, the thrills, and everything, that's raw and crazy.

On your private transfer, we stop at restaurants and cafes in Piplamode for our lunch and snacks. We can also take TOYOTA Coaster and VIP seats, so we can continue to complete our travelogue on the way back. 

It's easy to reach KTM if the weather is clear. The real thing we explore is via the road, you get to hardly have the joy of travel in flight. Within 50 minutes of flying from Bharatpur airport, you reach Kathmandu from Chitwan. 

We will go shopping in Thamel, the Pashmina shawl, printed joggers, and crafted things as souvenirs. Before we leave, we try the famous Newari Khaja set, Sel roti, and others too; staying at Thamel is not complete without this. We can relax and chill with spa services at the hotel and grab a cocktail at LOD. We will pack as we are to take the next day's flight back to our respective country. 

It's a travelogue end here; it's been a nice time with you guys, and we will wrap it up with a farewell lunch. You also get some souvenirs, like T-shirts, from the team. We will arrange your drop-off services to TIA and wish you a good flight back home.
