Trip Itinerary

1

Our Europe trip starts by taking a flight from Tribhuwan International Airport to Amsterdam Airport Schipol. Since there is no direct flight from Kathmandu to Amsterdam, we will have to make at least one transit in major cities like Dubai, Doha, or Istanbul, depending on what airlines you’re travelling from.

After landing in the capital of the Netherlands, our representative will transfer to your hotel which is specially arranged as per your wish.

After a brief rest and refreshment, you will be taken on the city’s sightseeing. Your first travel destination will be the Atomium which is in Brussels and approximately a two-hour drive from Amsterdam. You can either take a train, or bus or even rent a car at your convenience. As you make your journey, you will go through many historical buildings, greeneries, and residential areas which are beautiful in their ways. After the ride, we will walk to one of the most iconic structures in Belgium.

This building serves as a museum and an art centre for the public today was built for entirely different purposes back then. Once we enter the building, we will explore the futuristic architecture, like the ones we see in a sci-fi movie.

Our next stop will be the famous Manniken Pis Statue which is an iconic statue of a baby boy peeing. It only takes about half an hour's ride from the Atomium to reach this small bronze statue fountain structure. With a fun history of hundreds of years, this tiny statue has become one of the most loved symbols of Brussels today. Our representative will also tell you the story of this little boy’s reason for peeing.

After a long day in Brussels, we will head back to our hotel have dinner and call it a day.

2

Today we will be busy exploring the beautiful city of Amsterdam. After breakfast,  we will visit the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens, which will give you a vision of flowers like no other. Many famous songs have been shot in this legendary place.

The vibrant display of 800 different varieties of colourful tulips will surprise your senses and it offers a magical experience for visitors of all ages. After the garden, it is now time to explore Voldendam village, a small town that is known for its traditional Dutch costumes, village attractions and unique music and sporting events.

This town is a must-visit for a history lover. Along with that, you can also try various seafood delicacies.

If you’re a cheese lover, get ready to visit Cheese and Clog Farm where you get to experience the authentic Dutch culture and crafts. You will witness the real cheese and clog-making processes and can also sample or purchase these things directly from there.

After a short trip to the farm, it is time to go for a canal cruise in Amsterdam which is the city’s most famous outdoor activity. The city even has more canals than Venice. This will allow you to explore the city from the water as you might have seen in many films and documentaries. You will go through some of the iconic buildings like the Anne Frank House, the A’DAM Tower, the Magere Brug and the Jordaan neighbourhood during the cruise. After a long, tiring day, you can spend some time at the hotel or go around cycling nearby.

3

After travelling via train for almost 3 hours, we will reach the historic city of Cologne in Germany an outstanding example of high Gothic architecture. With cathedrals as high as the city skyline, Cologne attracts people due to its unbelievable cultural and religious beauty and also its famous carnivals, breweries, and relaxed lifestyle.

The first iconic monument in this city is the Cologne Cathedral. The interiors of this cathedral will blow your mind. You have to pay a small entry fee which will be used for the preservation and maintenance of this monument.

After the cathedral, it is time we go to river Rhine boating which will allow you to enjoy the fantastic views of the architecture that lines the sides of the river and enjoy some natural time.

4

We will take a train from Cologne to another city in Germany, Heidelberg which will take nearly 3 hours. You will pass through beautiful buildings and structures and even some forests during this trip which will make this long train ride very interesting.

After arriving at Heidelberg, the first place we will visit is the Heidelberg Castle which has been in ruins for hundreds of years. A ticket is required to enter the castle and then you can enjoy the old charm of this place and get a spectacular view of the town from there. You can also listen to many tales about this castle and take amazing photos with your loved ones.

We will then make our way to the Black Forest region where you can participate in various natural and outdoor activities and visit historical attractions. We can visit the Triberg waterfall, one of the highest in the country. Another unmissable spot is Mummelsee, which is a pristine lake in the middle of dense forests. You can go boating and fishing in that lake.

After a successful Heidelberg tour, we will proceed to our next destination, which is Rhine Falls in Switzerland. We have to spend the next two and a half hours on the train until we reach Switzerland, enjoying the scenic European beauty along the way.

To go through the waterfall, you will walk down some stairs and go through a cave-like structure and ultimately reach a point from where you can watch the waterfall up close and take pictures. There is also a facility for taking a boat ride near the fall.

Interlaken is a town that sits in the middle of two lakes in Switzerland. Tourists get to explore the lakes on a boat trip along with a stunning backdrop. This old town offers many fun-filled outdoor activities and natural excursions. This town perfectly matches what you imagined Switzerland to be.

The first place we will go here is the Sphinx observation tower, which plays a huge part in carrying out long-term experiments. While you cannot enter the observatory, you can go to the viewing deck next to it. Then, we will embark on one of the most interesting spots in this whole tour which is the Mt. Junfrau tour via railway, which is the highest in Europe. This ride will give you the most amazing view of the majestic mountains from very close.

The train will then go to our next destination, The Ice Palace, which is just three minutes' travel. This palace is nothing like other historical palaces in Europe as it has a huge crystal dome, ice-made pillars and structures, and many other surprising objects.

After an amazing day, it is time to go to your hotel, have dinner and rest

We will start this morning by having breakfast in the hotel and taking a train to our next destination, Geneva. Our train journey will last nearly 3 hours and every second of the ride will be exciting as you will see the beautiful Swiss landscapes, houses, and forests along the way.

Upon reaching Geneva, we will get some rest and then embark on our exciting new day which will consist of a lot of beautiful sightseeing in Lucerne. Our first destination will be Mount Titlis which is one of the major tourist attractions in Switzerland. Another train hours for a couple of hours and we reach the beautiful city. This mountain is famous for the world’s first revolving cable car. This ride is a must-try as it gives a stunning panoramic view of the Swiss Alps as you ascend. Visitors can also explore the glacier cave and winter wonderland.

Next, we will; visit the controversial yet historical Lion Monument. The monument is a huge dying lion carved on a rock which symbolizes the courage and sacrifices of the nation’s guards who died during the French Revolution. This statue is located in a park that overlooks Lake Lucerne, providing an amazing backdrop.

Finally, we will visit the popular Chapel Bridge which is just 8 minutes ride from the iconic monument. This bridge is one of the oldest covered bridges in Europe which is almost 800 years old. It offers intricate designs, and paintings on the interior walls, making it an eye-appealing landmark.

7

After a memorable trip to Switzerland, we will be headed to our final destination, Paris. Taking a train from Lucerne, we will reach the French capital in 4 hours and 30 minutes and along the way, we will pass through many pastures, landmarks, and people.

We will then check in at our hotel and have a proper rest so that we can resume our tour. During the evening, we will go on a fun Seine River Cruise. We will simply sit, relax and experience the beauty of Paris’ landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Museum. These landmarks are illuminated with dazzling lights, making them even more beautiful at night.

We can either have dinner during the cruise or at a restaurant.

Waking up in Paris is an amazing feeling. We can not miss the iconic French croissant for breakfast. Our trip will begin at the Versailles Garden situated at the Versailles Palace Complex. There is not even a single moment as the garden offers an array of attractive sights like fountains and sculptures, a peaceful vibe, a view of historical landmarks and so much more. It is a perfect spot for taking pictures.

After a serene time in the garden, we will visit probably the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre Museum. You will be in awe when you witness the vast collection. Some other famous pieces in the museum are Venus de Milo, The Raft of the Medusa, etc.

Our last stop will be Paris’s iconic avenue, Champs-Elysees which attracts visitors due to its elegant architecture, and expensive designer shops. This avenue also houses some famous landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe and the Petit Palais. This street is always bustling, making it one of the most populated places in Paris.

FAQ's

You normally can visit Europe in spring and summer since these months have fewer numbers of tourists and that lowers the prices of flights and accommodations. However, that may vary according to cities since there could be festivals or celebrations during these times which could hike up the prices. So, do thorough research about the place you want to visit in Europe before you go.

Generally, Paris is slightly more expensive than Amsterdam for an average tourist regarding accommodation, food and drinks, travel options, and transportation costs. That being said, it all depends on a person’s preferences and travel style.
