Everest Sherpani Col Makalu Trek

Mera Peak is less difficult technically so it is popular to those people who has not long experience of climbing. Mr Roberts and Sen has first of all explored this peak in 20 May 1953. The trail to Mera peak crosses dense forest (pines, hemlocks, birches and luxuriant rhododendrons). It holds astonishing summit panorama including five of the world’s 8000m peaks: Kangchenjunga (8586m), Makalu (8475m), Lhotse (8501m), Everest (8848m) and Cho Oyo (8153m). Ascending on snow slopes up to summit.

After the summit back to Lukla same route or continue to Mingbola or Amphulaptsa la or Serapani col through Hunku valley and panch pokhari ( 5 lakes). Hongu and Hinku uninhabited valleys are grazing kharkas. Amphulaptsa and Mingbo la passes are considered technically difficult.
Trek proceeds toward Makalu base camp 3-4 days walking over 6000m on snow and over crevasses to east col, west col and sherpani col.
EVEREST MAKALU via East 6183m , West 6143m and Sherpani 6146m trek covers both of region the largest valley in the world, the Arun Valley and Top of the world, Everest. Sagarmatha National Park, Makalu Barun Conservation Area, other high mountains and lakes are the ornaments of this region. Arun and Barun valley is home of more than 650 species of birds and over 800 species butterflies. It is also shelter of the rare and endangered animal Panda.
Orchides and other flowers along a faint jungle trail, Swirly prayer flags at Shipton La, walking through this picturesque Sherpa village are the attraction of this region.
Best Season
Trekking in Nepal can be undertaken throughout the year ,each season has its distinct attraction to offer AUTUMN (Sept – Nov): is considered excellent weather and panoramic mountain views. WINTER (Dec – Feb): could be an option often it offers the clear day with blue sky and rationally less trekkers on the trail.Spring (March – May): Different kinds of wild flowers, specially the rhododendrons( national flower) make the hillside a haunting paradise during and the mountain views are excellent.Summer (Jun-Aug): makes travel wet and warm.
